Michael Swiszczowski to speak at Bisnow “Manchester State of the Market” conference on 13 October
Residential Director Michael Swiszczowski will be participating in a panel discussion about Manchester’s Build-to-Rent market at the Bisnow “Manchester State of the Market” conference, which takes place at the Dantzic building in Manchester’s NOMA neighbourhood on 13 October,
The event will focus on Manchester’s office, student housing and Build-to-Rent markets, with local and national industry experts talking about a range of current topics in those sectors.
Michael will be taking part in a panel discussion on the topic of “Providing value to prove your value: Trends shaping the city’s Build-to-Rent scene” alongside key figures from Packaged Living, Far East Consortium (FEC), Urbanbubble and Vilicom.
As well as discussing the challenges and opportunities associated with Build-to-Rent developments in suburban locations, he will be expanding on some of the issues he explored in his recent Insight papers on the sector, including the excellent template that Build-to-Rent offers for post-Covid residential design and the ways in which Build-to-Rent developments must be future-proofed for future consumer behaviour, as well as the increasing importance of a co-working offer as a core amenity for post-pandemic Build-to-Rent developments.
With experience working on award-winning residential projects, Michael is helping to lead the expansion of our Build-to-Rent residential portfolio across the United Kingdom, including high-profile developments at Flax Place in Leeds and Kampus and Anchorage Gateway in Manchester. He speaks regularly at Build-to-Rent industry events, explaining why Chapman Taylor believes that the format is an important element in tackling the UK’s housing crisis as well as helping to provide the basis for a strong sense of community in towns and cities.
