The latest phase in Manchester’s MediacityUK has been revealed, comprising of hotel facilities, studio offices and new media space. The ‘Tomorrow’ project is a £20m state of the art mixed-use scheme designed by Chapman Taylor for investors the Peel Group and delivers 54,000 sq ft. of creative office space along with a 112-bed hotel.

The eleven storey building with four floors dedicated to the new hotel building aims to reach BREEAM Excellent rating and capitalises on MediacityUK’s already established Tri-generation renewable district energy systems that benefit from canal water cooling and heat recovery from the local on-site electricity generation engines.
This latest design commission continues Chapman Taylor’s masterplanning and architectural role at MediaCityUK, having delivered the first phase of BBC offices, studio production facilities, an energy centre, car park, and new metrolink station on the Salford site in 2011.
Construction gets underway in March 2015 with completion due in 2016.
