Our latest Muvi Cinemas development opens at Haifa Mall in Jeddah
The latest Chapman Taylor-designed Muvi Cinemas development has opened to moviegoers in Jeddah, at Haifa Mall.
The 2,452m2 complex offers nine cinemas hosting a total of 910 seats as well as a spacious area dedicated to food, drink and relaxation.
Our design for the cutting-edge cinema complex has a theme of urban downtown, with the intention of creating a dynamic, modern and innovative cinema experience. Internal spaces are characterised by an industrial, yet luxurious, material palette, including timber, exposed steelwork, exposed brickwork and an exposed concrete floor.
This new location is the second Muvi Cinemas development in the city and is part of an ongoing roll-out of cinemas by the first ever Saudi-owned cinema brand. Muvi Cinemas’ plan is to have 20 cinemas opened across the country by early 2021.
The project was delivered under the guidance of Dubai studio Design Manager Rebecca Farmer, who has considerable experience in the successful delivery of technically complex cinema developments, among several other types of project across a range of sectors.
