Preparation works for P/X by Palm Hills Developments are moving at speed in Egypt

Preparation work is progressing well on the high point of the Giza Governorate, Egypt, where an array of heavy excavation machinery is moving vast amounts of the underlying limestone rock.

Part of the Maadi Formation, the heterogeneous limestone planes carry groundwater on subterranean levels, which, when filtered, can be used for irrigation. In its largely completed flagship developments around the P/X site, Palm Hills has installed the infrastructure to allow this water to be utilised for the irrigation of the lush and attractive public realm in their local developments.

The residential market in Egypt is very dynamic, with ever-changing demands within short periods of time. Palm Hills’ ability to respond and deliver to these changes is part of its core strengths. With the majority of villas and apartments being sold off-plan, masterplans must be flexible and adaptable to enable a swift response to changes in the market. Chapman Taylor’s masterplan for P/X is designed to deliver this flexibility and is constantly adjusted to suit current requirements.

P/X will set a new standard in Palm Hills’ unique family of residential communities, reflecting their forward-thinking and innovative approach to delivering holistic environments and inspirational places to live.
