Refurbishment and New Design Unveiled for OUTLET CITY WEIL AM RHEIN

The Düsseldorf studio of Chapman Taylor is thrilled to announce a significant new project in Weil am Rhein, undertaken for the renowned client CARHARTT WIP (Work in Progress).

Weil am Rhein, a picturesque town nestled in southern Baden, Germany, boasts a population of approximately 30,000. Positioned at the crossroads of Germany, Switzerland, and France, this strategic location has long made it a hub of cultural and commercial exchange.

For over two decades, OUTLET CITY WEIL AM RHEIN has stood as a prominent international destination for urban streetwear and sportswear enthusiasts. Attracting nearly 1 million customers annually from Germany, France, and Switzerland, the outlet is synonymous with the globally recognized streetwear brand CARHARTT WIP. The outlet’s unique location within the border triangle ensures a dynamic, youthful, and diverse clientele, characterized by considerable purchasing power.

As part of an ongoing rebranding initiative, OUTLET CITY WEIL AM RHEIN is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment. Chapman Taylor has crafted innovative design proposals aimed at revitalizing outdated areas. Key improvements include the enhancement of both the main and side entrances, a fresh interior redesign, and a rejuvenated promenade that seamlessly connects the main building with the CARHARTT WIP facility.

The collaborative effort between Chapman Taylor and CARHARTT WIP centers on creating a distinctive urban outlet experience. This vision is brought to life through a modernized brand mix, complemented by a fresh marketing strategy that highlights newly designed facades and signage, contributing to a bold, contemporary aesthetic.

Chapman Taylor is delighted to be part of this exciting venture and eagerly anticipates the forthcoming planning phases. This project not only marks a significant milestone for OUTLET CITY WEIL AM RHEIN but also underscores Chapman Taylor’s commitment to delivering innovative and transformative design solutions.
