Retail and Leisure: Central Jablonec on schedule to open in 2017

Central Jablonec is a planned new shopping centre in central Jablonec nad Nisou, Czech Republic.

When complete, Central Jablonec will replace an existing dilapidated building and will help revitalize downtown Jablonec by offering a wide range of shops and entertainment facilities across nearly 70 business units (13,000 m2) including 200 parking spaces.

An underground floor will offer a supermarket with an area of cca 1,500 m2 accessible directly from the street, the ground floor will focus on fashion shops and other retail, with the first floor will focus primarliy on food and beverage and entertainment.

The facade of Central Jablonec will be made of stone and wood that imitates local natural materials to ensure the mall will blend seamlessly into the local historical context.

Construction has already began and it is anticipated to open in Spring 2017.
