Retail and Leisure: Alisios to open in August 2017

Construction work on our Retail and Leisure Centre 'Alisios' in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria is progressing well.

Earlier this month full Planning Permission was received for the development, which has a total area of 190,000 m2 GBA.

The Shopping Centre will house a total of 67,000 m2 GLA, including a hypermarket of 5000 m2 and a Cinema complex of 4000 m2 with 1100 VIP seats, as well as provide 2500 parking places.

The Centre will be organized in various building volumes organized around open streets, squares with terraces and a leisure space, taking full advantage of the climate on the island all year round.

The scheme is designed and delivered by Chapman Taylor Madrid.  Chapman Taylor’s Madrid studio has previously designed a shopping centre El Muelle de Santa Catalina on the same island.

The scheme will open in August 2017.
