Retail: Galeria Młociny to open in 2018
The work on site for Galeria Mlociny, a modern retail, entertainment and office complex in Bielany, Warsaw, has started.
The 220,000 sqm scheme will contain 220 shops, a 9-screen cinema, fitness centre, restaurants and cafes, in addition to 2,000 parking spaces. The development is adjacent to one of Warsaw’s major Transporation Hubs – Młociny, which includes the Metro station, tram and bus lines, P+R parking, long-distance coaches and the Modlin airport shuttle service.
One of the Prime Retail Locations in Warsaw
The complex has been designed to take advantage of its locality. There is a large roof recreation space with views of the Młociny Woods and Park towards the Vistula river. In summer, this leisure and recreation space provides dining-infrastructure, there is space for events and entertainment, an outdoor kids-play and sports eg. jogging paths, outdoor gym / yoga etc. and in winter there will be an ice skating rink on the roof, the first in Warsaw. The interior design of Galeria Młociny reflects the concept of ‘timeless elegance’.
The architectural design has been developed in conjunction with Warsaw based Kurylowicz & Associates, with Chapman Taylor involved from inception and early stage feasibility .
The opening of Galeria Młociny is planned for the second half of 2018 and the project will be BREEAM certified.
