Take a new look at our Moraleja Green shopping and leisure venue refurbishment in Madrid
New images have been taken which provide additional perspectives of the transformed Moraleja Green shopping and leisure venue in Madrid
The renovation of the 30,000m² GLA centre in Alcobendas, north Madrid, which completed in November 2017, transformed two shopping centre buildings and a garden area.
The original northern building acquired an attractive new entrance and double-height shop façades, while its interior design was overhauled. This part of Moraleja Green houses well-known names such as Zara, Massimo Dutti and Bimba y Lola, as well as a children’s area and an eight-screen cinema.
The southern building, a later addition to the centre, is connected by a completely redesigned, glazed walkway bridge to the northern building. The building’s redesign provides a space for luxury brands such as Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera and American Vintage.
Meanwhile, the garden area, which had been underused, has been landscaped to provide an attractive dining space as well as a playground and an event area. Chapman Taylor designed this asset enhancement project for Kennedy Wilson.
