Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Karjat is a 102-room hotel retreat situated on the Ulhas river in Karjat, Maharashtra, India, a two-hour drive from Mumbai and Pune.
Opening in 2016, with a vision promising to be the perfect destination for people wishing to escape the pressures of Mumbai city life, the Radisson is already a popular attraction.
Thai and Balinese architectural styles combined
Using the site’s beautiful riverside location and magnificent views across the river to distant hills, our design combines the compelling beauty of a far-eastern resort with hints of Thai and Balinese architectural styles. Flowing through it all is a theme celebrating Indian design, culture and spirit.
"Best Radisson Resort Property in India"
The project was initially signed as a “Park Plaza Resort- 4 Star Category” but the Architectural design concept helped the client upgrade the development to a "Radisson Blu Resort - 5 Star Category”.
It has been rated by the Carlson Group as the "Best Radisson Resort Property in India".
Chapman Taylor was the Lead Architect for the project including development of the Landscape concept which was one of the key elements of the design.
